Custom House
For the regeneration of Custom House, SB Landscaping played a key role in shaping high-
quality public realm spaces that anchor the wider development. The works included a blend
of hard and soft landscaping across neighbourhood squares, communal gardens, and street
frontages, all coordinated with new infrastructure and architectural features. Premium
natural stone paving, bespoke precast elements, and granite kerbs were combined with
robust planting schemes to create an inviting, durable environment.
The project also integrated sustainable design measures, including tree pits, swales, and
permeable surfaces to support urban greening and climate resilience. With carefully
detailed street furniture, play areas, and lighting, the landscape is designed to bring the
community together while standing up to heavy urban use. This project reflects SB
Landscaping’s expertise in delivering complex, large-scale public realm schemes with a
focus on quality, functionality, and long-term placemaking.
